This is the first time that I will be writing about my dad.
Questa è la prima volta che io scrivo riguardo mio padre.

This is the last picture that I took of him before he passed away. He was doing one of his daily walks and would most of the time bring Vince along.
Questa è l'ultima foto che io ho preso di lui prima che andasse oltre. Stava facendo una delle sue passeggiate quotidiane e la maggior parte delle volte prendeva Vince con Sè

Seeing this picture again reminds me that even if we didn´t see each other that much, he always made me feel that he was there for me. We might not agree on a lot of things but still you could see what his intentions were for the decisions he made.
Guardando questa immagine ancora ricordo me che anche se non ci vedevamo molto,comunque Lui mi ha sempre fatto sentire che era li per me. Noi potevamo non essere d'accordo su un gran numero di cose ma potevo capire quali erano le sue intenzioni dalle decisioni che prendeva.

He chose this path because for him he had a mission. He was very passionate about his work. Sometimes stressed out or frustrated but most of the time excited. He was excited in sharing his knowledge. He was excited about learning something new.
Lui scelse questa via perchè per lui era una missione. Lui era molto appassionato riguardo questo lavoro. Qualche volta stressato o frustrato ma il più delle volte eccitato. Lui era eccitato nel dare la sua conoscenza. Lui era felice nel' imparare qualcosa di nuovo.

He enjoyed conversing with people and seeing new things. And he was passionate about helping people.
Lui gioiva conversando con persone e vedendo nuove cose. E aveva la passione di aiutare la gente

He spent most of his times reading, writing, teaching and healing. He wanted to make sure that all the knowledge gained should be shared with people who are ready to listen. He had so much to share that sometimes a lifetime is not enough.
Lui ha speso la maggior parte del suo tempo leggendo, scrivendo,insegnando e guarendo. Lui voleva essere sicuro che tutta la conoscenza guadagnata fosse divisa con le persone che erano pronte a ascoltare. Lui aveva così tanto da condividere che a volte il tempo di una vita non è abbastanza.

My dad worked hard because he had to make sure we had a good future ahead of us.
Mio padre lavorava duro perchè doveva avere la sicurezza che noi avremmo avuto un buon futuro.

He didn´t want us to settle for something less than the life he had provided..
Lui non voleva che noi ci accontentassimo per  qualcosa di meno di quello che la vita gli aveva fornito.

And I am very grateful for all the things I´ve learned from him. I am thankful for having a good life. And I am thankful that whatever decisions I´ve made, he was always there.
Io sono molto grata per tutte le cose che ho imparato da lui. Sono molto grata per avere una buona vita. E sono molto grata che qualsiasi decisione ho preso lui era comunque lì.

Continuing this charity work that he has started made me see the reality of the world. It made me understand why people acted the way they did and how hard life can be.
Continuando questo lavoro di carità che lui ha iniziato mi mostra  la realtà del mondo. Comprendo perché la gente si comporta in un certo modo e quanto dura possa essere la vita.

And doing this is really a joy and a blessing for me. Seeing happy faces and all the help being given just fills the heart. It makes life look a little brighter.
E fare questo è veramente una gioia e una benedizione per me. Vedere facce felici per tutto l'aiuto dato, riempie il cuore. Fa sembrare la vita più luminosa

 

I may say that I have some regrets as to how I lived my life. But from what I´ve learned from dad you only have two choices when he gave advice.
Io posso dire  che ho alcuni rimpianti così come ho vissuto la mia vita. Ma da come ho imparato da papà quando dava consigli, tu hai solo due scelte

First is when you listen, you might go through things the easy way. If not, then learn them the hard way. Whatever decision you make, it will always be a learning process.
Primo è quando tu ascolti, tu puoi passare attraverso le cose, la via facile. Altrimenti conoscile, la via difficile. Qualsiasi decisione tu prendi, dovrai essere a conoscenza del processo.

So rather than regretting, look ahead and just do your best for the days to come.
Così piuttosto che rimpiangere, guardi avanti e fai del tuo meglio per il giorno a venire.

Thank you so much for all the support you have given to us and to his works. I hope that on the Founder´s day you may feel his presence and know that he will always be there walking beside us through this journey we call Life.
Grazie così tanto, per tutto il supporto che tu hai dato a noi e al suo lavoro. Io spero che durante il Founder's day tu possa sentire la sua presenza e sapere che Lui  comunque sarà lì camminando fianco a noi, attraverso questo viaggio che noi chiamiamo vita.
